Do I require a Home Information Pack (HIP) if I decide to sell to you?There’s no need for you to have a Home Information Pack because this will be a private sale i.e. no marketing of your property will take place. If you sell through an Estate Agent it would typically cost you around £500 for a HIP. Sales through an Estate Agent also incur commission charges of 1.5% – 2% of the sale price.
